In a focused one-hour private spindle spinning lesson, the student will learn how to set up and start using their spindle, practice drafting fiber for an even feed, and master spinning direction (Z vs. S twist) with guided demonstrations. We’ll cover techniques for winding yarn onto the shaft neatly and managing your single, and—time permitting—discuss basic plying methods to create balanced two-ply yarn.
